AFter 2 weeks plus nearly 3 weeks of reno....

So after some corrected works,such as position of my breakfast counter,no floor trap in shower area..at last..all things done up..even retiling works..My advise if you see any mistake..talk to your ID nicely and ask them to rectify..don't just shoot at them..human do make mistake..and mistake can be corrected :]

Ceiling work

Since I bought 9" downlight which is a way too big size for a HDB flat..my ID got to make the L box thicker to hold the oversize downlight.Normal size should be 4-6" for HDB...9" is commonly use in commercial building..well since I already bought 18 nos of downlight..looks like I will have to stand with it..and yess when I ON all the lights..guess my living and dining will be as bright as a stadium :]

Luckily I engage 1st Choice movers to move my stuff.Cost about $600 from 4 room to 4 room although distant is near..however I found the service is good...Just that they want the box back once I had unpacked..thinking back..recycle is better. :] Take a look at the mess..

After having a hard time to choose tiles,finally our chosen tiles will be lay and put out on our walls..Hopefully all goes well..let's take a sneak peek :]

07 March 2011...A day I will never forget

It's been a while since I updated my blog.Yes finally after the hectic reno process I manage to nibble something on my night shift.After signing many documents on the completion date..atlas the house is officially mine.A house on my own...yes!!! After completion nothing can describe the feeling..you will be asking yourself.." Is this real??can somebody pinch me..."The day have come and time to start on my renovation..It's indeed a fun process but yet stressful..you need to decide things,measurement may not be the same as your ID layout,there will be minor changes,so please accept that.Every ID will love to make your 3D drawings turn out to be reality but measurement,unwanted beam,unconcealed pipes,this cannot be avoided...join me in the process as I show you step by step on how my renovation process go :]

Busy busy...headche....

Wow 11 more days to collect my keys.Got to move out of my current house by 06th March,packing 80% done.Packing is easier,just dump everything inside the box,wonders how unpacking will be like,guess,it will be more tiring.Movers decided.Contractors decided.Aircon will be meeting the salesperson on saturday.Later going to JB to buy lightings and mum's ceiling fan.Friday,appointment with ID on tiles,laminate.Sunday..My Rest day after 7 days of night shift.Perhaps Sunday will be packing and shopping day.Can't believe we had come this far,I know mum feel sad leaving the house and me too..it's been 15 years we live in this house,with lots of memories.Guess on moving day,got to get ready some tissue in case tears start to swell my eyes lol.Look at the future,hope for the best,New beginning,be thankful as some people can't even afford to buy a house.Hope this will be my motivation to keep me moving.This reno process is gonna be fun.and exciting as what my reno buddy,Yati said..lol.Hope everything goes well...
